The Microduct inner layer can be smooth, ribbed or spiral ribbed, tailored according customer's requirement.

The radical design of Tornado/ spiral ribbed ducts creats an air cushion cornado effect, imparting an increased pulling force on cables. The cable outings on the air cushion and does not touch the duct, the friction force is significantly reduced and also lesser pulling force is needed than in manual cable installation. This enables about double times longer cable blowing per operation, compared to conventional smooth-wall ducts. Besides, minimizing cable installation cost, it ensures a faster return on investment.
