1. Introduction
Goldstone has developed a proprietary composite pipe (GXCG/HDPE) that offers superior abrasion resistance and lower cost of production compared to all leading products in this market area. GXCG/HDPE pipe combines the strength of Goldstone's high pressure steel wire/fiberglass reinforced HDPE pipe technology with the abrasion resistance of a proprietary liner.

2. Main Characteristics
Excellent abrasion resistant property. It is especially suitable for the transportation of slurry, mine refuse and other solid or mixture.
Good melting flow and easy for processing by general polyolefin extrusion equipment.
The composite pipe co-extruded by GXCG material and HDPE/PP has excellent bonding property in the interface, there is no separation in the interface.
Excellent physical characteristics.
Sanitary liner without any toxic additives.

To test how Goldstone GXCG material¡¯s impact wear resistant property, a special testing device is designed. Sand slurry (30% river sand weight) is sprayed out onto the test sample by high pressure pump. Spray speed is 21.64m/s. Two different UHMWPE materials (UHMWPE-1, UHMWPE-2), GXCG material, HDPE material are chosen for test. Spray angle is changed in 86.2¡ãand 56.2¡ã.

From the test results, it is clear that Goldstone GXCG abrasion resistant pipe is much better than other pipes, the inner pipe surface is smooth and no scratch damage, other pipes has problems of deformation, scratch damage etc.
We have conducted SEM electron microscope analysis for HDPE pipe, GXCG Abrasion-resistant pipe, UHMWPE pipe to see their micro structure. GXCG abrasion-resistant pipe has a much smoother inner surface compared to UHWMPE pipe and normal HDPE pipe

4. Project performance
Goldstone GXCG abrasion resistant pipe has been used in various of mining projects in China and abroad including Rio Tinto, Pangang Steel Mine etc.
The following is one project-iron sand separation facility usage description:

Normal steel elbow leaks only 9 days after installation

Goldstone abrasion-resistant elbow before installation

Elbow is installed to the iron sand separation transportation pipes

After 5 months operation, no damage to the abrasion-resistant elbow, installed again
