NP1010

Product Description

NP1010 is a halogen-free flame retardant based on P&Si system. The polymer with NP1010 will expand when burning and form a stable carbon layer on the surface. The protective layer provides a heat insulation effect, reduces oxygen access and prevents the further spread of flame, plays a role in fire retardant. The flame retardant is not hydrolyzed, not precipitated, has good self-extinguishing properties into carbon.

Applications

NP1010 is an efficient, non-toxic and environmentally friendly, additive type flame retardant.NP1010 is white powder, developed especially for PS. It is easy to operate and easy to disperse. The product has the characteristics such as good dispersion, excellent coloring,halogen-free,non-corrosive,compliance with the EU environmental directives.It is the best choice for health and safety in the production process.

Formulation

Recommended to add 20 to 30% (by weight). NP1010 is usually sufficient to achieve the UL 94 V-0 flame retardant requirements (at 3.0 mm thickness).Due to different formulations and processing conditions, the dosage of flame retardant may be different.

Storage

Stored in a dry environment at normal temperature.
